The baths of Caracalla

Among the most splendid monuments of ancient Rome, this enormous complex was built between 212 and 216 AD by emperor Marcus Aurelius Antoninus and remains the best preserved of the ancient bathhouses.

Basilica of Saint Paul

Established on the burial ground of St. Paul, it’s the second largest Papal basilica after St. Peter’s in the Vatican. Be in awe of its magnificent interiors, the colossal marble columns and the beautiful gold mosaic. A must-see in Rome.

The Appian way

Step back in ancient Rome and walk in the footsteps of Julius Caesar. The Appian Way is the oldest road still in existence. Perfect for a bike ride and a visit to the impressive monuments and ruins, such as the catacombs of San Domitilla and San Callixtus.

Circo Massimo

Said to be founded by the fifth king of Rome, Tarquinius Priscus, the Circus Maximus was the first and largest venue for public games and feasts, horse and chariot racing, athletics, plays and gladiator fights in ancient Rome.
